Dr Hafezi commenced working at Advance Healthcare in 2021, and is a dual-qualified Specialist Pain Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician. He completed his rehabilitation physician training at Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2019 and underwent further training in Pain Medicine at Monash Health, St Vincent's Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2021. His achievement was recognised in 2021 with a Merit award for outstanding performance in the Faculty of Pain Medicine Fellowship examination, in addition to completion of interventional pain training at Melbourne Pain Group.
Dr Hafezi is the Medical Lead at Advance Healthcare, and is experienced and interested in multidisciplinary medicine, whereby he takes an integrative approach to the management of pain conditions. He also works at Peninsula Health supervising trainees, and is an active member in a number of professional associations including Spinal Interventional Society, European Pain Federation EFIC, and International Association of the Study of Pain (IASP).
Dr Hafezi speaks fluent Farsi and Dari.
